Leaving work: route home and your evening playlist

Leave your saved Work location and navigation home starts with your wind-down playlist.

Why it’s useful

Live traffic routing without touching the screen, and the music already matches the mood.

How to set it up

1. Open AutomationsWith the car in Park, open the App Launcher on the touchscreen and tap Automations.
2. Create a new automationTap “Create an automation”.
3. Set the trigger: Home or WorkUnder Trigger, open Location and pick Home or Work. Set it to: Left Work.
4. Action 1: Navigate Home or WorkTap Add action, open Navigation, pick Navigate Home or Work and set: Home.
5. Action 2: Play PlaylistTap Add action, open Media, pick Play Playlist and set: Your evening playlist.
6. Name and saveName it “Head Home”, save, and make sure its card is switched on.
7. Test itTrigger it once while parked with the screen on, and check each action happened.

Menu names come from the English strings found in current firmware and may change slightly at launch. There is no way to import automations, so you build each one on the touchscreen. Full walkthrough

Tips

• Add a time condition (after 4 p.m.) so a lunchtime trip does not route you home.
