Back-seat heat for rear passengers
When a rear seat is taken on a cold day, the rear seat heaters and second-row climate switch on.
WHEN

AND IF
- Outside Temperature — Below 45°F (7°C)
THEN
- Seat Heat & Cool — Matching second-row seat heat — medium
- Front / Second-Row HVAC — Second-row HVAC on
Why it’s useful
Rear controls are on a small screen the passengers may not know about. This just handles it.

Limits to know
- Seat Heat & Cool: Ventilation and second-row options depend on the car’s seats.
- Automations only run while the center screen is on, and never while Autopilot or FSD is engaged.
