Cold morning: heated seat and wheel the moment you sit down
Below 40°F (4°C), sitting in the driver’s seat turns on seat heat and the heated steering wheel.
WHEN
Seat Occupied — Driver seat — occupied
AND IF
- Outside Temperature — Below 40°F (4°C)
THEN
- Seat Heat & Cool — Driver seat heat — high
- Steering Wheel Heater — On

Menu names come from the English strings found in current firmware and may change slightly at launch. There is no way to import automations, so you build each one on the touchscreen. Full walkthrough
Tips
- The delay step steps the seat down from high to low so it does not cook you on a long drive.
Limits to know
- Automations need the screen on, so this runs when you get in, not before. For preheating, keep using the phone app’s climate control.
- Seat Heat & Cool: Ventilation and second-row options depend on the car’s seats.
- Steering Wheel Heater: Only on cars with a heated wheel.
- Automations only run while the center screen is on, and never while Autopilot or FSD is engaged.
