Home arrival: pause media and switch climate off
Shift into Park at home and the media pauses and climate turns off.

Gear State — Changes to Park

- Front / Second-Row HVAC — Front HVAC off
Why it’s useful
A clean end to the drive. Nothing keeps running while you unload.
How to set it up
- Open AutomationsWith the car in Park, open the App Launcher on the touchscreen and tap Automations.
- Create a new automationTap “Create an automation”.
- Set the trigger: Gear StateUnder Trigger, open Drive and pick Gear State. Set it to: Changes to Park.
- Add condition: Home or WorkTap Add condition, open Location, pick Home or Work and set: Car is at Home.
- Action 1: Media CommandsTap Add action, open Media, pick Media Commands and set: Pause.
- Action 2: Front / Second-Row HVACTap Add action, open Climate (HVAC), pick Front / Second-Row HVAC and set: Front HVAC off.
- Name and saveName it “Home Arrival”, save, and make sure its card is switched on.
- Test itTrigger it once while parked with the screen on, and check each action happened.
Menu names come from the English strings found in current firmware and may change slightly at launch. There is no way to import automations, so you build each one on the touchscreen. Full walkthrough
Limits to know
- Skip this if pets or people wait in the car with climate on; Dog Mode and Camp Mode are separate features.
- Automations only run while the center screen is on, and never while Autopilot or FSD is engaged.
